The most beautiful thing in the world

Unconditional love is the most beautiful thing in the world. It is saying to somebody I don't mind how much you have hurt me, how cruel or sadistic you may have been or continue to be, how much you ignore me I will continue to love you and want the best for you. The book 'The Song of Songs' says that 'love is stronger than death'. I think that we need to make a distinction here. To say to somebody 'i'll die for you' when feelings are strong that is one thing. What about when those feelings die and there are no feelings or even feelings of revulsion. That is genuine love - it is the most beautiful thing in the world
